oils on canvas

Patrick Walshe is an Irish artist living and working in the Wicklow hills south of Dublin. He has had a 50 year career as a painter living, working and exhibiting in Ireland, the USA, Italy and Abu Dhabi. He paints mainly in oils on silver leaf on canvas. By painting on a silver leaf surface he creates a parallax effect depending on lighting and the position of the viewer.

Visitors are welcome to his studio, by arrangement.
